Das erwartet Sie

As a Controller in Sales & Commercial Controlling, you will support the company's sales and commercial activities by providing accurate financial analyses and monitoring sales performance. In this role, you will be responsible for providing relevant financial information to support the company's strategic and operational objectives and maximise profitability.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Sales Controlling:
    • Monitoring and analysing sales activities, including turnover, sales volumes and margins.
    • Preparing regular sales reports to support management and the sales team.
    • Analysing sales costs and identifying potential savings and optimisation opportunities to increase efficiency.
    • Support in setting and monitoring sales targets and analysing target achievement.
    • Carrying out target/actual comparisons and variance analyses.
    • Commercial controlling:
    • Supporting the sales team with financial analyses on pricing, profitability and margin calculations.
    • Carrying out target/actual comparisons and variance analyses.
  • Commercial controlling:
    • Supporting the sales team with financial analyses on pricing, profitability and margin calculations.
    • Monitoring contracts and conditions with customers and suppliers to ensure that they are profitable and in line with the company's objectives.
    • Analysing contribution margins and margin structures of products and services.
    • Supporting the creation of business cases for new products, services or business opportunities.
  • Budgeting and forecasting:
    • Assisting in the preparation of revenue and sales forecasts and planning commercial budgets.
    • Support in the creation and maintenance of forecasts for sales and commercial activities.
  • Customer segment and product analyses:
    • Performing detailed analyses of customer segments, product portfolios and markets to identify trends and improvement potential.
    • Identification of profitable customer groups and products and development of optimisation proposals.
  • Reporting and analyses:
    • Preparation and presentation of monthly, quarterly and annual reports on sales and business development.
    • Carrying out ad-hoc analyses to support the management and the sales team.
  • Process optimisation

Das bringen Sie mit

  • Successfully completed studies in business administration, finance, controlling or a comparable specialisation.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in sales controlling, commercial controlling or financial analysis, ideally in an international company.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial analysis of sales activities as well as pricing and margin calculation.
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills with a strong affinity for numbers and data.
  • Confident with ERP systems (e.g. SAP) and advanced Excel skills; experience with BI tools is an advantage.
  • Fluent written and spoken German and English.
