Your Tasks

As a Controller in the Supply Chain, Procurement & Asset/Stock Controlling department, you will be responsible for the financial monitoring and control of the entire supply chain as well as procurement processes and inventories. In this role, you will help to optimise the efficiency and cost structure in these areas while ensuring compliance with financial standards.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Supply chain controlling:
    • Monitoring and analysis of the entire supply chain in order to optimise costs, efficiency and performance.
    • Identification of potential savings and optimisation opportunities along the value chain.
    • Carrying out profitability analyses and preparing decision papers for management.
  • Procurement controlling:
    • Financial management of purchasing and procurement processes to ensure that budget targets are met.
    • Support in the optimisation of supplier contracts and purchase prices.
    • Analysing and controlling material costs and the associated KPIs.
  • Asset controlling:
    • Monitoring and managing company assets, including their valuation and depreciation.
    • Ensuring accurate recording and valuation of fixed assets in the financial systems.
    • Support in the planning of investments and in the preparation of investment calculations.
  • Stock controlling:
    • Controlling and monitoring stocks and inventories to ensure optimal stock management.
    • Analysing stock levels to identify overstocks, bottlenecks or inefficient warehousing.
    • Development of measures to optimise and reduce stock levels and improve inventory turnover figures.
  • Reporting and analyses:
    • Preparation of regular reports and analyses on the topics of supply chain, purchasing, inventories and fixed assets.
    • Carrying out ad-hoc analyses to support management and operational management.
  • Process optimisation:
    • Continuous improvement of supply chain, procurement and inventory management processes.
    • Introduction and monitoring of control mechanisms to comply with cost budgets and increase efficiency.

Your Profile

  • Successfully completed studies in business administration, finance, logistics, supply chain management or a comparable specialisation.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in controlling, ideally in the areas of supply chain, procurement or inventory management.
  • Good knowledge of workflows and processes in the supply chain, purchasing, inventory and asset management.
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills to analyse complex financial data and identify optimisation potential.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Fluent written and spoken German and English.
