Your Tasks

  • Support HQ R&D in developing competitive architectural solutions for automotive camera products
    1. Analyze customer RFI/RFQ documents, clarify requirements, and translating them into technical critical points which must be fulfilled
    2. Lead or contribute to construct the system architecture design proposals, coordinate with R&D teams to finalize solutions to achieve customer technical requirements
    3. Review designs to ensure technical feasibility and market competitiveness
    4. Present Technical Addendums (TA) on-site in OEM location, advocate for optimal solutions to customers, and negotiate technical deviations when necessary
    5. Address customer inquiries during technology assessment, provide timely and professional support, and assist in feasibility evaluations
  • Monitor/understand the progress of technical issues in camera development projects
  • Monitor industry trends, collect and research new technologies requirement for EU region, and contribute technical insights to technical roadmap planning
  • Stay updated on the technological development trends in the camera industry, including new technologies and directions in key components and manufacturing processes such as optical lenses, CMOS sensors, ISPs, and SerDes

Your Profile

  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in the technical development of automotive camera systems (e.g., ADAS, surround-view, driver monitoring).
  • Master’s or above in Optics, Physics, Electrical, or a directly related field.

Technical Expertise:

  1. Proficient in the working principles, selection criteria, and interface design of core camera modules (Image Sensor, Lens, SerDes, Power Management, LED/Flash)
  2. Well-versed in camera image quality metrics, reliability testing protocols, and industry standards (including thermal drift analysis and MTF durability)
  3. Solid understanding of camera intrinsic calibration processes and triangulation-based ranging principles
  4. Familiarity with ISO 26262 and its application to ADAS products

  2. fast self-driven learner, resilient with energy, curiosity, and an open-minded approach
  3. Outstanding communication skills with a proven ability to present complex technical concepts clearly
  4. Fluency in English (mandatory), proficiency in German is an advantage
