Your Tasks
- You are the central contact person and moderator of quality issues for our OEM customers
- You will be responsible for quality-related issues for products in series production
- From the systematic processing of customer complaints to the corresponding follow-up of measures, you will assume responsibility for the entire complaint management for hall and field faults
- you will coordinate the activities for analysing customer returns as well as the necessary activities of 3rd party quality service providers & resident engineers at the plant and directly at the customer's site
- You ensure that timely feedback is provided in customer portals according to customer requirements using common core tools (8D, 5W, FQE, etc.)
- You will develop preventive testing strategies for hall and field failures of new products and provide input to the parts handling process (Field Quality Engineering)
- You will be responsible for monitoring customer assessments and, in the event of deviations, will moderate the improvement programme with the relevant departments
- You will support the further development of a global customer quality-specific key performance indicator system and the derivation of sustainable corrective and preventive measures
- You are responsible for the implementation of change requests for products in series production in accordance with customer requirements (change management)
- You systematically plan quality assurance activities such as requalifications and product audits and provide these to the customer on time
Your Profile
- You have a university degree in a technical degree programme, for example mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or similar
- You have a high level of customer orientation, confident decision-making and problem-solving skills
- You have solid knowledge of creating 8D reports and error analyses using 5W or Ishikawa
- Knowledge and applicability of common automotive core tools is an advantage
- You have good knowledge of the MS Office package
- SAP application knowledge is an advantage
- Initial experience in the use of customer portals is also an advantage
- You are a team player, looking for a challenge with development potential and enjoy working independently
- You have very good written and spoken German and English skill
