Your Tasks

  • Responsible for the design and validation of competitive architectural solutions for automotive Head-Up Displays (HUD)
  • Leading the optimization of critical manufactural and process challenges in HUD mass production
  • Driving the development of high-efficiency optical toolchains to continuously improve design efficiency
  • Organizing design reviews to ensure the feasibility and competitiveness of optical solutions
  • Research industry trends, rapidly learn cutting-edge technologies, and apply them to product design
  • Provide technical support to relevant departments for customer service
  • Responsible for system solution proposal, including:
    • Study RFI/RFQ documents from customer, analyze and clarify customer's requirement,
    • Leading/support System Concept Design proposal, coordinate R&D and output complete system solutions
    • Onsite TA (Technical Addendum) presentation and concern clarification,
    • Follow up questions raised by customers on technology assessment, and provide quick and professional service to customers, support them for the feasibility evaluation.

Your Profile

  • Master’s degree or higher in Optics, Physics (must have studied aberration theory, physical optics, and information optics)
  • 5+ years of experience in optical design for imaging products (HUD, lenses, projectors, AR glasses)
  • Proficient in at least one optical design software (Zemax, CodeV) and one optical simulation tool (LightTools, Speos, etc.)
  • Skilled in scripting (Python, MATLAB, VB, etc.) for data analysis and processing
  • Strong systematic thinking and cross-disciplinary problem-solving skills
  • Fast learner with a strong self-driven attitude and energetic, passionate, curiousness, open-minded, resilient character
  • Excellent communication skills in English (is a must) and German (is a plus), Exceptional presentation and written skills (PowerPoint)
